Galaxy 4000 is a 100 mm partition system Is a highly popular due its higher performance levels. It is a medium duty, demountable and non-load-bearing. The overall thickness is 119 mm overall with the extruded aluminium rounded or square profiles. The rounded profiles are readily available from stock in either satin anodised finish (SAA), polyester powder coated White RAL 9010 or Grey BS 00A05. The system is based upon nominal 1200 mm module and is constructed with a combination of galvanized stud framework with either a single or double layer of 12.5 mm thick gypsum plasterboard. For enhanced acoustic performance the cavity should be filled with insulation materials. The gypsum plasterboard could be taped and jointed or square edge finished with
Aluminium cover trims. The system can be constructed in fully single- or double-glazed module with the option of incorporating venetian blinds for privacy.
The solid elevation offers the fire resistance of 30 minutes and the acoustic performance is up to 50dB Rw
