Rectangular ductwork requires insulation to regulate the temperature within heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The Rockwool duct slab is the ideal insulation slab for HVAC systems and cold water storage tanks. The Ductslab has the highest possible classification in terms of reaction to fire (A1 non-combustible) is acoustically absorbent, has a thermal conductivity of 0.034 W/mK and a water vapour resistance up to 1000MNs/g.
