Ancon’s Debonding sleeves are used, on plain-end wall ties, at vertical movement joints that are, adjacent to the column. The wall tie effectively suppresses later wind loads while allowing the masonry to expand or contract. Upon application, a 120mm Debonding sleeve will achieve the minimum 100mm embedment, while allowing for movement and tolerance.
