Similarly to other Ecotherm materials, the Ecotherm Eco-Liner is a fibre-free rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation, although what makes the Eco-liner different is that it is bonded to a 12.5mm tapered edge gypsum plasterboard (using gypsum bonding adhesive). Henceforth, the Eco-liner 2 in 1 both dry lines and insulates, minimalising installation time. The Ecotherm insulated plasterboard comes in a vast range of thicknesses from 25-70mm (+12.5mm plasterboard) fitting to almost all building specifications.
Performance:
The Eco-Liner has a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mk (insulation) and 0.19 W/mk (plasterboard) as well as having a compressive strength of 14kpa when tested at 10% compression to BS EN 826: 2013.
