TLX Insulation part of TLX Manufacturing designs and makes thin, high-performance multifoil insulation and insulating breather membranes. We were founded in 1993 and employ a team of scientists and engineers at our production facility at Blackrod, Lancashire.
We specialise in making insulating materials for properties where the increase in thermal requirements can lead to loss of internal space or changes to the roofline. TLX Insulation Ltd is a member of TIMSA.
Our products hold BBA certificates. We are approved by The Carbon Trust and have a large number of system build-ups approved under the LABC Registered Details scheme.
An average house produces 14 litres of moisture a day yet air leakage is a major contributor to heat loss. Energy-saving, waterproof and airtight – TLX UV breather membranes allow moisture to escape and prevent air leakage.
